This unique material has an extremely high mechanical resistance and thus an incomparable longevity. Even after numerous washes, its appearance and color intensity remain unchanged. To optimally support the performance of emergency services, TEXPORT’s own developments, such as the innovative material structure X-TREME® with its proverbial “extreme” protection against heat and flames, the textile reflective strip TRIPLE FABRIC® or the insulation system AIR BLOCKER®, are indispensable.

Owner and managing director Otmar Schneider founded TEXPORT in 1992 with an ambitious vision. He wanted nothing less than to build the company into the world’s number one in the field of high-quality protective attire. After more than 30 years, this vision has become reality. TEXPORT now supplies around 1,130 customers worldwide with premium products every year. Since 2021, daughter Nicole Heinemann has also been a member of the management team, leading the company into the next generation with a strong innovative drive. In the future, social responsibility, flexibility, and the stability of the family-run company will remain an integral part of our corporate culture.
TEXPORT operates four wholly-owned production facilities, and all manufacturing is done in Europe. The facilities meet the highest standards in terms of modernity, sustainability and environmental protection. A total of approximately 770 employees – around 120 of whom work at the company’s headquarters in Salzburg – enable us to produce approximately 345,000 garments per year. Thanks to our own production facilities, TEXPORT is able to handle both small-scale orders, for example for volunteer fire brigades, and orders for several thousand items. From lightweight single-layer forest fire fighting suits to complex PPE category 3 suits, fire brigades around the world trust in the variety and quality of TEXPORT products.
